Comfort Inn & Suites Medina NY near Erie Canal

This is a fairly generic hotel but the folks who work here are what make it special. The rooms are VERY clean, the beds are quite comfortable, the hot breakfast provided is substantial, and every interaction we had with a staff member was friendly and pleasant. The lobby is pristine with a large jug of ice water available, with either fresh orange or lemon slices (replaced at least daily), which was delightful after a long day of flying. There is also fresh coffee, all free. There is a small selection of snacks and toiletries available for purchase in the lobby as well. While it's not a historic hotel, full of character, sometimes you just want something simple, clean, and reliable. It's away from "downtown" Medina but still easily accessible. I would definitely stay here again, if the opportunity arose.

I went back to the town where I taught for many years and was delighted to find this spanking new hotel doing a brisk business. It's spotlessly clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I suspect that might be because three of them were my former students!

Rating this 5 stars because I left something important in one of the rooms and wouldn't of realized it but they called me and told me they had it. Very thankful for that and just wanted to say whoever is cleaning the rooms is obviously a trustworthy employee and I recommend giving them a raise cuz they could have just as easily pocketed it and got away with it. It's hard to find trustworthy workers out there. Thanks again

Just happened onto this hotel in Medina on a road trip through the area. What a find! The best things are incorporated into the rooms. Many many outlets for charging electronics. Night light in the bathroom, shower instead of a tub, Frig and microwave good sized and accessible. Comfy beds. This place was incredibly clean and fresh. Felt like it had been opened last week. And to top it off - reasonable room rates!

Clean rooms. Fitness center was lacking and breakfast was unimpressive.

This is a beautiful hotel surrounded by a serene landscape. Our room was spotless and very comfortable. We enjoyed a lovely continental breakfast. The back patio was very relaxing to sit outside at night. Debbie at the front desk and General Manager Steven were both welcoming and very accommodating. Would highly recommend.

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at the hotel over the weekend for a wedding. Katie at the front desk was absolutely wonderful!! We were there as a family enjoying each other, she made it even more wonderful by helping us get pizza and wings delivered and allowing us to enjoy the fireplace in the lobby. Thank you Katie. I hope we weren't too much trouble!! Hope to see you again!!

Very nice new hotel with shed to store bikes (electrical outlets for e-bikes). They seem to have trouble staffing - front desk woman was rude to several of our group.

Good clean hotel with hot breakfast. Only issue was room next door was extremely loud, no reason for them to be next to me when there were like 8 cars in the entire parking lot. The hotel was empty. Be aware you will have to pay top dollar for this hotel.

Visiting from SC to attend a wedding at Maisin Albion. Enjoyed our stay, room was clean. The real star is front desk attendant Debbie. She is friendly, helpful and takes pride in her work. A valuable asset. Diane and Woody Wright
